Still looking for people to join your team? You've asked everybody you know and some you don't know? Still no prospects and no leads? Thinking of throwing in the towel? Remember why you got into the business. Did you get into business to get rich quick?
Just like you had to learn your job, you have to learn to run your business and marketing is a large part of that education. The business that you yourself own. Isn't it worthwhile to learn how to build and maintain the traffic you need to sustain a thriving business? I know, the amount of information out there is enormous. You can get "Analysis Paralysis" by reading all the information that has accumulated in your email inbox. Throw it out!!! Find one or two that provided you the information you need and get rid of the rest.
When you market to your niche, you market products that your niche uses. For example, you don't sell Fly Fishing equipment to Ballerinas. Sure you may have a decent Father's Day, but after that sales will probably be dismal. And most of the Marketing Systems being offered come with products??!! They promise you that you can earn income while you build your business. What they do is sell you products, and the person that brings you in gets a commission. If you want a commission then you get your down line to buy into them. Your business then is selling systems as a product. Your niche, maybe people that want to make money on the internet.
You would be better off building your own Marketing System. Get it up running and making money. Then if you want to increase your income you can do so by increasing your product line. Otherwise, you could be paying a monthly fee on services that you cannot get other people to buy into. I'm sure these systems make money, and I'm sure they work fine. Just make sure that's the business that you want to be in.
Remember, the 95% of the Small Business that fail, still have inventory and bills! So clean out your email, pick a couple of people that are leading you in the right direction and delete the rest. Select your market, and find products that people in your niche look seek. Insert those products into your marketing system and you are in business. Then if you desire to increase your income, add to your product line. Do Not Pick Your Products Before You Pick Your Market. Likewise, if your Marketing System has you spending more on products than Marketing... something is wrong!
